GST on Legal Bills
Merchant Law Group LLP is in the process of commencing legal action to recover GST paid on some disbursements to lawyers. Please check your accounts from lawyers and determine if you have paid GST on disbursements like transcript fees, reports of experts, land titles fees, the disbursements to issue a Statement of Claim or pay Court charges, Court fees to issue a Petition for Divorce, obtain a Death Certificate, finalize a Judgment, or a wide range of disbursements paid to lawyers. We will not seek to recover anything from the lawyer who collected the tax from you but rather seek to recover from the government for you. These taxes, in our view, were wrongfully charged to you. We believe we can recover for you the GST which you wrongfully paid.

We need to discuss the details to determine whether there has been wrongdoing by The Source. Please contact us if you have purchased a warranty from The Source.
