Activia National Class Action

DanActive National Class Action

Merchant Law Group LLP has launched class proceedings against the manufacturers of Activia yogurt and DanActive probiotic drink, on behalf of all Canadian consumers.

The lawsuits will allege that the manufacturers of these yogurt products did, amongst other things, make false or misleading statements with respect to the health benefits of consuming Activia or DanActive.

This litigation is being pursued as a National Class Action on behalf of all Canadian residents who have purchased either Activia or DanActive Products. (A Class Action has been filed in Quebec, court file no. 500-06-000482-097, against Danone Inc., as the Canadian distributor and/or manufacturer of Activia and DanActive products, which is headquartered in Boucherville, Quebec.)

If you wish to be kept informed as to the status of this litigation, please join our Danone contact list for this class action, by completing the form below. Please note, filling out the form below creates no financial obligation for you.

We encourage you, if possible, to keep any grocery receipts or UPC packaging that you may have from Activia or DanActive purchases. It is not possible to predict at this time the type of documentation which will be needed for proof of purchase, in order for consumers to receive compensation or reimbursement for Dannon products purchased, if this Class Action is successfully concluded.  Even if you do not have grocery receipts or other proof of purchase, our law firm may request that any Class Action settlement permits compensation without receipts.
