Text Messaging - Bell/Telus Mobility National Class Actions
August 8, 2008 - Merchant Law Group has commenced class actions concerning a new policy by Bell and Telus to charge customers for incoming text messaging. As of August 8, 2008, Bell is the first cellular provider in Canada to charge 15 cents per message to customers to receive text messages (unless they pre-pay an extra flat monthly fee). Telus plans to follow suit with the same policy on August 24, 2008.
All Canadian residents who are cellular customers of Bell and Telus are eligible to join this class action case. Please note, filling out the form below creates no financial obligation for you.
