Chalk River National Class Action
February, 2009 - Merchant Law Group LLP has launched a class action lawsuit on behalf of military personnel and their dependants who have been adversely affected by the Chalk River decontamination.
The government has offered a $24,000.00 compensation payment to some members of the Chalk River decontamination team from the nearby Canadian Forces Base in Petawawa, Ontario. Merchant Law Group believes this offer is insufficient, and shows no regard to the degree of damages and compensation owed to the individuals affected. The offer also excludes many affected individuals. Our class action seeks greater compensation and damages, for more affected individuals.
