Saskatchewan Corporate Counsel for a number of national and provincial corporations, acts extensively in all forms of litigation including family and aboriginal law, with practice past 2000 largely focussed on mass and class proceedings, and is listed with Lexpert as "Repeatedly Recommended".
Broad community involvement and leadership roles in various sports associations, church organizations, the Austrian Edelweiss Club, the Cub Movement, the Saskatchewan Civil Liberties Association, the MS Society, and the Voice of the Handicapped. Lieutenant in the Navy Reserve and a member of Naval and Officers Clubs. On two occasions received awards from the Saskatchewan Action Committee for exceptional contribution to the development of equitable treatment of women in the Courts and the law, twice awarded Eagle Feathers by First Nations in recognition of work on behalf of First Nations communities including Residential School victims. Awarded the Queen's Decoration Medal in 1976, the Canadian Long Service Medal in 1984, and the Queen's Memorial 2002, Sask. Centennial Medal in 2005, the Austrian Decoration of Honour in Silver in 2006, and was made an Honorary War Chief in 2008, as a member of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Indian Name: Flanking Warrior.
