Merchant Law Group LLP has launched class actions in the superior courts of various provinces against the makers of "Thomas the Tank Engine" toys which are reported to have been painted with products containing lead.

The use of lead paint on toy surfaces raises concerns for the safety of young children playing with these toys. Exposure to or ingestion of lead paint, particularly for children, may lead to various adverse effects and damage to the health of children, although signs of problems may not be readily apparent.

Any parents whose child(ren) play with toys from the below list are invited to fill in the form at the bottom of this webpage, in order to be contacted by our offices and kept abreast of our litigation efforts in regards to this matter.

A product recall of these toys includes wooden vehicles, buildings and other train set parts sold between January 2005 and June 2007.
