Invokana Class Action
Merchant Law Group LLP has launched Canada-wide class action lawsuits against the drug manufacturer Janssen (a division of Johnson & Johnson) on behalf of Canadians who used Invokana (a prescription drug in the gliflozin classification, used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, generically known as Canagliflozin). Invokana is an antidiabetic drug used to improve glycemic control in people with type 2 diabetes, marketed by Janssen (a division of Johnson & Johnson), in a number of countries it is available under the brand name Invokana.
It is alleged that Invokana may cause kidney damage or failure. Damage to the kidneys can be permanent and require kidney dialysis or a transplant. If not caught in time or untreated, it can be deadly.
