Premarin/Premplus Class Action

Premarin/Premplus Class Action

Merchant Law Group LLP has launched class action proceedings against Wyeth and Pfizer  on behalf of certain Canadian women concerning Premplus and Premarin (a hormone replacement therapy prescription pills), also known as Prempro or HRT drugs.

Premarin is a form of estrogen. Premplus contains both estrogen and progestin in a single medication. The class action litigation alleges inter alia that taking Premarin or Premplus causes an increased risk for certain types of cancer.

We encourage you to keep any packaging, prescription records, or other documents you may have regarding Premarin/Premplus. Please note, our law firm is not in a position to provide any form of medical advice, and if you have any questions of a medical nature you should refer them to your doctor.

Please note that regarding Premarin/Premplus, our law firm is not in a position to potentially assist [nor take any steps in the future on behalf of] any resident of British Columbia whose litigation rights were extinguished by the B.C. Premarin/Premplus class action settlement announced in 2015.  If you are an affected B.C. resident, please visit https://www.classaction.deloitte.ca/en-ca/pages/premarinpremplus.aspx and contact Deloitte for any further information.
