News: Truck strikes, hospitalizes elderly woman in Acadia

CALGARY, AB – An elderly woman was sent to the hospital after being struck by a truck Thursday afternoon in the Acadia community of Calgary, reports Global News.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Bonaventure Dr and 94 Ave. The woman was in critical condition at the time of hospitalization. Following the collision, the driver of the truck remained at the scene.
