Baggage Fees Class Action

Merchant Law Group LLP has launched class-action litigation against Air Canada and WestJet.  It is alleged that both Air Canada and Westjet colluded to introduce the same fee at the same time on Checked Baggage, without providing any extra services for the increased cost. In 2014, both Air Canada and WestJet introduced a $25 charge for the first piece of checked luggage for economy passengers on domestic and other flights within North America.
