Crocs Class Action

Merchant Law Group LLP is pursuing proposed class action litigation against the shoe and footwear maker Crocs, which lawsuit alleges inter alia that beginning in approximately 2003, Crocs began falsely claiming that its shoes were made from “special Patented Closed Cell Resin (PCCR)”, when in fact the material used to make their shoes was not patented.

The class action lawsuit also alleges that Crocs eventually named its knock-off footwear material “CrosliteTM” and began touting that CrosliteTM was “patented”, “exclusive” or “proprietary”, none of which is true.
