IRS Intergenerational Survivors Class Action

Merchant Law Group LLP is pursuing national class action litigation against the Federal Government seeking compensation on behalf of Indigenous Canadians whose parent or parents were placed in a federally-recognized Indian Residential School.

This litigation asserts that Children of IRS Survivors have suffered numerous impacts and harms, as a result of the Indian Residential School system. [Please note, the proposed “class definition” for this class action only includes living persons, with at least one biological parent who attended a federally-recognized Indian Residential School.]
