Valsartan Class Action

2018 – Merchant Law Group LLP has launched national class action litigation on behalf of all Canadian residents who have been prescribed and ingested valsartan, an ingredient in many common blood pressure/heart drugs made by generic manufacturers, including Teva Canada Limited, Sandoz Canada Incorporated, Pro Doc Limitee, Sanis Health Inc., and Sivem Pharmaceuticals ULC. These drugs have been recalled by Health Canada due to the alleged presence of a cancer-causing contaminant, known as NDMA.

More information and a detailed listing of the medications that have been recalled can be found at http://healthycanadians.gc.ca/recall-alert-rappel-avis/hc-sc/2018/67202a-eng.php If you are currently taking any of these medications, please contact your pharmacist and doctor medical directions, before changing any drug regime.
