Volkswagen / Audi (New Models) Timing Chain Class Action

Merchant Law Group LLP has launched national class action litigation against VW Canada on behalf of affected Canadians who own or lease (or have previously owned or leased), one or more of the below Subject Vehicles affected by the Timing Chain System Defect, being the following Volkswagen or Audi branded vehicles containing 1.8L or 2.0L engines:

certain 2012-2014 VOLKSWAGEN Beetle; 2015-2018 VOLKSWAGEN Beetle; certain 2013-2014 VOLKSWAGEN Beetle Convertible; 2015-2017 VOLKSWAGEN Beetle Convertible; certain 2012 VOLKSWAGEN CC; 2013-2017 VOLKSWAGEN CC; 2012 VOLKSWAGEN Eos; 2013-2016 VOLKSWAGEN Eos; certain 2012 VOLKSWAGEN GTI; 2013-2018 VOLKSWAGEN GTI;  2015-2018 VOLKSWAGEN Jetta Sedan; certain 2012-2014 VOLKSWAGEN Jetta GLI; 2015-2018 VOLKSWAGEN Jetta GLI; 2014-2019 VOLKSWAGEN Passat Sedan; certain 2012-2013 VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan; 2014-2018 VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan; 2015-2018 VOLKSWAGEN Golf; certain 2012 Audi A3; 2013-2018 Audi A3; certain 2012-2013 Audi A4; 2014-2018 Audi A4; certain 2012-2013 Audi A5; 2014-2018 Audi A5; certain 2012 Audi A6; 2013-2018 Audi A6; certain 2012 Audi TT; 2013-2018 Audi TT; certain 2012 Audi Q5; 2013-2018 Audi Q5; and 2015-2018 Audi Q3

 

This class action litigation is in respect of defect repairs for the Timing Chain Tensioning System only.
 

The ongoing class action seeks compensation only for the above listed Volkswagen and Audi vehicles with applicable engines.
