BACKGROUND
Felicia Slogoski was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, and is proud to have deep roots in the community she now serves. After graduating from Riffel High School, Felicia moved to Vancouver to attend the University of British Columbia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Law and Society, graduating with Distinction. Felicia went on to complete her Juris Doctor at the Allard School of Law at UBC.
During law school, Felicia was actively involved in the legal community. She volunteered with the Law Student Legal Advice Program and the Innocence Project in Washington State, while also attending numerous legal conferences, including the Innocence Project Conference in New Orleans. Felicia captained Allard’s softball team, the Carbolic Softballs, and was a cast member of the 2023 Lawyer Show, a musical theatre fundraiser featuring members of the legal profession. Prior to law school, Felicia was engaged in international politics and represented both the Canadian government and non-governmental organizations at the United Nations.
Felicia’s decision to work at Merchant Law Group is driven by her innate sense of justice and her instinct to stand up for the underdog. Guided by a deep commitment to fairness and accountability, Felicia is passionate about using the privilege of being a lawyer to advocate for individuals facing powerful institutions, corporations, or the state. Since completing law school and returning home to Saskatchewan, she is excited to serve the community that shaped her. Outside of work, she can usually be found with a coffee in hand and cheering on her favourite team at every Rider game.
