CALGARY, AB – Authorities are urging drivers to use extreme caution while traveling on 17th Avenue Friday afternoon due to issues with a traffic signal.

According to a tweet by YYC Transportation, the traffic signal began flashing red at the intersection of 17th Ave. and 85th St. at about 1:17 p.m.

Repair crews have been dispatched to the scene. However, motorists are advised to be vigilant of others while traveling through the intersection to avoid an accident.
