News: Driver injured following collision in Grand Prairie

GRAND PRAIRIE, AB – A 48-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Grand Prairie Wednesday morning, according to Canada Police Report.

The Grande Prairie Rural Royal Canadian Mounted Police responded to a single-vehicle collision around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highway 2 and Township Road 732. They determined that a pick-up driving on Highway 2 swerved off the road and into a ditch on Township 732.

The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. The road was temporarily closed until emergency crews cleared the area.
