News: Driver of stolen truck rams, injures Cold police in Cold Lake

COLD LAKE, AB – An officer was injured in Cold Lake on May 29 when a stolen white Ford F350 collided with their vehicle, reports Canada Police Report.

RCMP officers responded to 47 St following reports of a stolen vehicle. Officers initiated a traffic stop and then the truck slammed into the police car. The truck fled the scene after the officer shot at it with their service revolver.

The officer sustained minor injuries. The occupants of the truck were a male driver and female passenger.

Officer with the RCMP Eastern Alberta District assisted Cold Lake RCMP with the investigation. They located the truck involved in the incident in La Corey and arrested the driver, Cody Raymond White. White was charged with multiple charges including assault police officer, flight from police, and dangerous operation of motor vehicle.
