News: Man crushed to death at work site in NE Calgary

CALGARY, AB – A man in his 40s was killed Wednesday morning when a concrete slab fell on him at a work site on the city’s northeast side, the Calgary Herald reports.

Emergency responders were called to the 0-100 block of Whiteram Way N.E. at about 8:45 a.m. on March 31. The man was already dead when they arrived.

Provincial occupational health and safety (OHS) authorities are joining police to investigate the incident.
