News: Motorcyclist injured in crash near Queen’s Park Cemetery

CALGARY, AB – A motorcyclist was injured Friday in a collision near Queen’s Park Cemetery, CTV News reports.

The incident happened in the 3200 block of 32 Avenue NW sometime that evening. The exact circumstances of the crash were not included in CTV’s story.

Emergency responders treated the man at the scene, but did not believe his injuries were serious.

Motorcyclists are at a particular risk for serious injuries when involved in collisions, not just because their bikes lack the safety features of larger passenger vehicles, but because other motorists often fail to exercise necessary caution.
