News: Officers on the scene of 2-vehilce collision on Macleod Tr.
CALGARY, AB – Commuters in south Calgary were faced with delays following a collision on Macleod Trail Wednesday afternoon.
According to a tweet by YYC Transportation, the accident took place just moments after noon in the northbound lanes of Macleod Trail near the Anderson Road Southeast.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, photos from the scene depict multiple vehicles blocking the right lane of travel with traffic moving slowly in the remaining two lanes.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a direct result of the collision.
