News: Stolen car strikes tree, injures driver in Brooks

BROOKS, AB – Emergency responders were dispatched to Township Road 19-2 following reports of a collision, according to Canada Police Report.

The accident took place on Township Road 192. Emergency crews were dispatched to the area around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning. The found a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu had collided with a tree.

A 58-year-male was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Firefighters extricated him from the vehicle and then took him to a nearby hospital.

Officers discovered the Malibu had been stolen. The incident is currently under investigation.
