News: Suv strikes, kills pedestrian in Edmonton

EDMONTON, AB – A pedestrian died in the hospital from injuries sustained from being hit by an Suv at 146 Ave and 29 St Wednesday afternoon, reports Canada Police Report.

Officers responded to 146 Avenue and 29 Street around 5:15 after receiving reports of an accident.

A ford SUV was pulling out of a driveway in a residential neighborhood when it struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a 47-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital by EMS. She died from her injuries at the hospital. The driver was uninjured.

Officers do not believe alcohol or speed to be factors in the accident.
