News Update: One killed in accident on Hwy 27 Wednesday

KNEEHILL COUNTY, AB – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 27 Wednesday morning, according to Canada Police Report.

Three Hills RCMP received a call of a two-vehicle accident at 9:54 a.m. and reported to Highway 27 near Range Road 251.

A truck traveling east on 27 collided with a vehicle traveling north on Range Road 251. The drivers of both the truck and the car were injured and transported to the hospital. The car’s passenger, a 78-year-old woman died at the scene. Her name has not been released by authorities.

A Royal Canadian Mounted Police Collision Analyst assisted with the investigation.
