News: Warmer weather increases risk of recreational vehicle accidents

AIRDRIE, AB- With the weather warming up, the RCMP wish to remind everyone that all recreational vehicles, including electric mopeds/motorcycles, electric-motor bicycles/scooters, and off-road/ATV vehicles are subject to the Traffic Safety Act. 

Be sure to follow up with your local ordinances to confirm which vehicles are permitted on roads and sidewalks. 

Failure to do so may result in charges or even serious injury.
