Collision involving Phoenix city bus injures 4, including infant
PHOENIX, AZ – A multi-vehicle collision in east Phoenix left four people seriously injured on Monday night.
According to a report by ABC 15, the collision, which involved three vehicles, occurred near the intersection of 40th Street and East McDowell Rd.
Responding officers believe the driver of a passenger vehicle pulled out in front of a second vehicle at the intersection, causing the two to collide. The second vehicle then careened into a bus that was stopped nearby.
Four people involved in the crash, including a 3-week-old child, were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. None of their injuries are believed to be life-threatening at this time.
