News: 1 killed, 1 injured at Finning Canada work site in Edmonton

EDMONTON, AB – One man was killed and a second was injured following an accident at a Finning Canada job site west of downtown Edmonton on Wednesday.

Global News reports that the incident happened at about 2 p.m. on March 31, at the Finning Canada yard located at 10435 180 Street. Two men were injured while an employee was servicing an excavator. They were transported to the hospital, where one of the men died.

Their identities had not been released as of Thursday evening.

Occupational Health and Safety is investigating the incident.
