News: Detached garage fire sends man to hospital with life-threatening injuries
CALGARY, AB- A Calgary man is in critical condition after being involved in a detached garage fire last night, according to Global News.
Firefighters arrived at the 9000 block of Oakland Way S.W. shortly before 8:30 p.m. to flames and heavy smoke. They found a man in his 40s outside before rushing him to the hospital.
The fire department stated that the garage was completely damaged, but the home remained unscathed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
