News: Edmonton driver and company responsible for fatal truck accident charged for multiple violations

EDMONTON, AB- According to Canada Police Report, the truck driver and company responsible for the Oct. 28, 2020 accident that led to the death of another driver on Lessard Road near Anthony Henday Dr have been charged with multiple traffic and safety violations. 

The driver was a 36-year-old female traveling down Lessard Road when her minivan was struck by an object that flew off the commercial truck, causing her vehicle to rollover and killing her in process. 

The accident occurred when the eight-wheel converter dolly dislodged from the truck before travelling into oncoming traffic and colliding with the mini-van.

The truck driver has been identified as Errol Hunt, 66.
