News: Single-vehicle accident kills motorcyclist in Mayerthorpe

MAYERTHORPE, AB – A 54-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Highway 757 at Township Road 554 Tuesday afternoon, according to Canada Police Report.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police received reports of a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle around 4:30 p.m.

Investigators learned that the motorcylicst was going north on Hwy 757 when, for reasons unknown, they strayed off the road and crashed. He died at the scene.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation at this time.
