CALGARY, AB – A teenager was seriously injured yesterday evening when she was struck by a motor vehicle in southwest Calgary, CTV News reports.

Calgary police and emergency services responded to a pedestrian-vs.-vehicle collision near Bay Ridge Drive and 90 Avenue S.W. shortly after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim, a teenaged girl, was transported to Foothills Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
