News Update: Investigators wish to speak with witnesses of collision

CALGARY, AB – Calgary police are wishing to speak to witnesses of an accident at Canyon Meadows Dr and Deer Ridge Dr, according to Canada Police Report.

First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Canyon Meadows Dr and Deer Ridge Drive around 10:15 p.m. on May 24. Investigator found that Hyundai Accent driven by an elderly man had struck a pedestrian with enough force to launch her several feet. She was hospitalized and remains in serious condition.

Following the accident, the driver of the Hyundai stayed at the scene of an accident. Neither impairment nor speed are believed to be factors in the accident.
